Statement
I produce primarily hand-thrown functional stoneware pieces for use in the home, ranging from mugs, bowls, and other utilitarian wares to flower arrangers for cut or dried flowers and whimsical "ring holders" and other small sculptures. I mix all of my own glazes and fire to a non-toxic, lead-free surface that is microwave and dishwasher safe, as well as useful in the oven.I enjoy decorating some surfaces with horse sketches, stripes, and sometimes dots, in colors that are appealing and enhancing to any decor.

Statement
I have been working in Pottery for about three years now. I enjoy the freedom that clay lends to express form. My work is both sculptural and functional ceramic art . In the past my themes have fallen around the figure and the portrait.  All my utilitarian work is hand built and glazed with lead free glazes. Please feel free to stop by the studio or check out my website.
